Give the customer the perception that they are saving money. They will be more likely to buy and spend money that way. If you are going to sell something for $500, list it at $800 but say there is a discount/sale right now and it’s selling at $500. You’ll sell more that way. Give customers deals, sales, discounts, all of that, even if they are fake, as that drives sales higher.
Don’t try to make a one size fits all product for all customers. There may be multiple types/clusters of customers in a market, this make a product that caters to each individual cluster.
